By downloading, accessing, or using Essence (the "App") and any related services, websites, or content (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services. These terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Essence.

Essence provides a mobile application and supporting digital experience focused on personal transformation, shadow work, mindfulness, body awareness, and progress tracking. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time without prior notice.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use Essence. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials.
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Essence is a sanctuary. You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
• Harass, intimidate, or threaten other users.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or any content designed to damage or disrupt.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

All content, design, graphics, logos, text, software, and other materials in Essence are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App (journal entries, reflections, etc.). By using the Services, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the App.

Certain features may require a paid subscription. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through your platform's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Essence is designed for personal growth and wellness. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. We do not guarantee any specific results from using the Services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Essence and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination, all provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Essence operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes signifies acceptance of the updated Terms.
